About the Firm
Restructuring demands strategy, not improvisation.
Tikvah Advisory is a boutique consulting firm specialized in corporate restructuring, turnaround, and judicial reorganization support. We partner with entrepreneurs and founders who need more than legal support — they need strategic guidance to navigate periods of transition and rebuild their businesses on a stronger foundation.
What sets us apart is perspective.
We understand the perspective of banks, creditors, and large corporations. We grasp their incentives, decision-making criteria, negotiation mechanisms, and how they assess risk and feasibility.
We also know the entrepreneur's side — facing crisis from within: the weight of difficult decisions, the impact on your team, the loss of predictability, and the emotional toll of steering your company through uncertain waters.
Having worked both sides of the table shaped how Tikvah Advisory operates: a blend of hands-on experience, market best practices, and proprietary tools designed to support companies through critical transition moments.
We don't observe crisis from the sidelines. We grasp its signals, its patterns, and its consequences — and we act to transform that journey into a more structured passage.
Founder
A consulting firm built on experience from both sides of the table.
Paulo Altman's trajectory combines corporate experience, commercial management, finance, negotiation with large organizations, and direct involvement in corporate restructuring processes.
Before founding Tikvah Advisory, Altman built a significant portion of his career in complex corporate environments. This experience gave him an insider's grasp of how large enterprises, banks, creditors, commercial channels, and sophisticated decision-making structures operate.
Later, Altman led a restructuring and judicial reorganization process from within an industrial company with decades of market presence, conducting negotiations with banks, suppliers, creditors, and other stakeholders. This experience shaped Tikvah Advisory's founding mission: to support entrepreneurs who must make difficult decisions in environments of pressure, uncertainty, and change.
Tikvah Advisory springs from this combination: the vision of someone who understands how large enterprises, banks, and creditors operate; the lived experience of standing beside an entrepreneur through an actual recovery process; and the conviction that critical moments demand method, presence, and stewardship.
